The Ramona Rodeo Foundation’s Community Crisis Fund was created to provide immediate financial assistance to individuals and families in the Ramona area facing unexpected emergency or crisis situations.

Whether it’s a sudden medical emergency, loss of income, natural disaster, or other life-altering event, our goal is to help ease the burden when it’s needed most. The fund allows us to respond quickly and directly to those in crisis—offering a hand up when time and compassion matter most.

A portion of the proceeds from all Foundation fundraising efforts, including the Ramona Rodeo, helps sustain and grow this fund so we can continue supporting our community in times of need.

Eligibility & Guidelines

Assistance is intended for residents of the Ramona community, reflecting the Foundation’s deep commitment to supporting our neighbors in times of need.

Requests are reviewed by the Ramona Rodeo Foundation Board of Directors. While each situation is unique, priority is given to those most directly impacted by serious illness, injury, loss, or disaster.

Examples of assistance may include:
• Medical or health-related expenses not covered by insurance
• Temporary housing, rent, or utility costs due to a crisis
• Emergency travel or funeral expenses
• Urgent needs caused by fire, accident, or other unforeseen events

Each request is evaluated individually based on need, impact, and available resources. Funds may be distributed directly to recipients or to vendors on their behalf.

All requests are kept confidential and evaluated by the Foundation Board based on need, impact, and available resources. Applications are reviewed as quickly as possible to ensure timely support.

Every dollar donated goes directly toward helping Ramona residents in need—100% of contributed funds are distributed to recipients.
